Sommer Solutions

About Sommer Solutions

There's a happy irony in a company called Sommer Solutions clearing snow, and in Ellsworth the winters are long enough to need every ounce of summer spirit. The village sits on the Chain of Lakes in Antrim County, and once the water freezes and wind skates across the ice, drifts pile quickly along streets and driveways. Sommer Solutions plows drives open across those frozen weeks so the morning can begin on time. Banks are pushed well back, leaving room for whatever the lake country sends next. Under a pewter sky, a cleared driveway feels like a small, warm promise kept.
