About Blade Brigade LLC

Out on the gravel section roads of Elba Township, July arrives as heat shimmer over cut hay and a plume of dust hanging behind the truck. Blade Brigade LLC works those roads through the long afternoons, mowing, edging and trimming yards that run right up against corn and fencerow. Deck height goes up when the weather turns dry, because a taller cut keeps a Lapeer County lawn green when the rain forgets to come. The reward is the last pass at six o'clock, shadows stretching east, stripes straight, every gate latched behind them. Autumn turns the work to leaves, and winter hands the ground back for its rest.
