R.A.W. Tree Service

About R.A.W. Tree Service

The soil out in Egelston Township is old lake sand, and the white pines that took to it stand tall enough to make weather of their own. R.A.W. Tree Service works these Muskegon County lots between Twin Lake and the city, where a dozen miles of open country is all that stands between a backyard and the wind off Lake Michigan. Tree removal, tree trimming, and pruning keep those big crowns balanced over houses built back when the pines were half their present height. After a blow rolls in from the big lake, cleanup is the whole day — cutting the top out of the driveway, stacking what can be stacked, sweeping the drive down to bare pavement. A yard that looks as though nothing happened at all: that is the point.
