About All Seasons Field Services
Winter arrives in Egelston Township on a west wind that crosses Lake Michigan and unloads itself a few miles inland, and All Seasons Field Services is out in the middle of it. Plowing here starts long before the first headlights show up on Apple Avenue, when the township is still blue-dark and the only sound is a blade finding gravel. Driveways off the sand roads get opened wide enough for a work truck to swing through, walks get cleared down to the concrete, and the ice gets treated before anyone has to think about it. There is a real satisfaction in someone stepping outside at six and finding the way already made. Snow is the whole calendar out this way, and clearing it is the work.
