Weather arrives here from the west with plenty of notice — you can watch a July thunderhead stack up over the fields toward Charlotte for an hour before it reaches Eaton Rapids. R&D Landscape works around it: mowing, trimming, edging and landscaping through summer, cleanups when the maples let go, and plowing and salting once that same open ground starts sending snow sideways down the section roads. There is no windbreak out there, so a drift will rebuild itself in an afternoon, and the only answer is coming back.
