About Honest lawn

First light at Tawas Point comes up over open water, and lawns in town hold their dew until nearly nine. That is the hour Honest lawn likes: cool air, quiet street, blades set high and the lines walked straight. The work is mowing, string trimming, edging along drives and walks, and the cleanups that bracket the year when the poplars and pines drop their share. It is plain work done in order, one yard finished before the next is begun. What's left behind is a lawn that looks like somebody paid attention — even edges, no clippings on the concrete, the gate latched on the way out.
