About People like us

Come Saturday evening in Durand the street sounds like porch talk and a sprinkler, and every lawn on the block has an opinion about itself. People like us handles the cutting — mowing, trimming close around the steps and the old maple, edging the walk so the line stays clean the whole way to the curb. Grass in Shiawassee County comes on fast after a wet week, so the schedule keeps its own steady beat from spring right through the leaf-fall cleanups. It's neighbor work, honestly: you drive the same streets you live on, and you leave them looking better than you found them. Durand notices that sort of thing.
