Wright's Contracting Services

About Wright's Contracting Services

A township road in a north wind fills from the fields, not the sky — a storm can be over for hours while the drifting carries right on. Wright's Contracting Services works the snow end of that: plowing driveways and lanes, clearing lots, opening walks and salting wherever ice sets up hard. The goal is simple, and it gets measured at half past five in the morning, when a truck can back out and go to work. On the section-line roads around Dundee township there's a plainness to the job that suits the country — you find the drive, you open it, you move on to the next one. Winter here is long, and somebody has to be out in it.
