About Kramer Services

Snow off Lake Michigan does not announce itself in Douglas; it simply starts, and by dawn the drives along Blue Star Highway are under a foot of it. Kramer Services runs the plow through those nights — clearing driveways and lots, shoveling walks and steps, and salting the places where meltwater refreezes in the shade of the dunes. In the green months the same route turns to mowing, trimming and edging, keeping sandy shoreline yards even and their borders clean. Sand and lake wind are hard on turf, which is what makes a well-kept lawn here something you notice from the street. Kramer Services covers Douglas and the nearby Allegan County lakeshore towns.
