About From The Ground Up Management LLC

There are two Dorrs, really: the one under snow and the one under mowers, and this business keeps a property through both. From The Ground Up Management LLC plows, shovels and salts when drifts pile against the pole barns, then switches to mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups once the frost works its way out of the roads in April. That turn happens fast in this part of Michigan — one week the ground is iron, the next it is soft and greening along every ditch line. Looking after the same driveway in January and the same lawn in July builds a kind of memory of a place: where water stands, where the blade catches, where the grass burns off first. Dorr Township and the towns around it get the whole year's attention.
