About Bare Ground Stump Grinding, LLC.

Out here the section roads run arrow-straight between Allegan County cornfields, and the Rabbit River takes its slow turn through the low ground below town. Bare Ground Stump Grinding, LLC. works that flat, open country south of Grand Rapids, where a single yard oak can be the whole skyline of a farmhouse lot. Tree removal, tree trimming, and stump grinding are the work: the leaning limb taken down before it finds the barn roof, the crown opened so light gets through to the grass again. The stump is the part people remember — a gray hump of wood in the morning, a ring of chips you can rake level and seed by afternoon. There is real satisfaction in handing back a lawn that runs unbroken to the fence line.
