Sun Rise Lawn Care & Snow Removal

About Sun Rise Lawn Care & Snow Removal

First light comes up the Huron valley from the east, over the Scio fields, and for a few minutes every lawn in Dexter is silver before it turns green. Sun Rise Lawn Care & Snow Removal is out in that window most of the year — mowing, trimming and edging while the day is still cool, mulch and cleanups when spring and fall ask for them. In winter the same hour is dark and bitter, and the trucks go ahead of it, plowing drives, clearing walks and putting salt down where a boot lands first. There is a particular pleasure in finishing a driveway while the sky is still deciding what it will be, and in the homeowner who steps out to find nothing left to do. Dexter wakes up early; the work starts earlier.
