Green Guys Custom Lawn Fertilization

About Green Guys Custom Lawn Fertilization

Dexter's ground still keeps the shape the glaciers left it: sandy outwash sloping toward Mill Creek, heavier loam on the flats above, and two lawns across a street from each other that never want the same thing. Green Guys Custom Lawn Fertilization reads a yard before it feeds one — the pale seams that show up in May, the way color holds or gives out in an August dry spell. Each round is timed so the grass takes it in and thickens from the crown, until the stand itself is what keeps weeds from finding a foothold. Broadleaf treatment goes on where it's needed and nowhere it isn't. What comes of it is unfussy and deeply satisfying: an even, dark green that looks exactly right under the long slant of a Michigan evening.
