About The Magik Touch LLC

At four in the morning the wind comes up off the river cold enough to sting, and along the Jefferson-Chalmers canals the streetlights show the snow still falling sideways. The Magik Touch LLC works that hour — plowing drives and lots, shoveling walks and steps, spreading salt where ice sets up hardest at the storm drains and the low spot by the curb. Winter here does not arrive politely; it lands overnight and expects the whole east side to be moving by first shift. The satisfaction is in what a customer sees at six: pavement scraped down dark, a clear line from the door to the car, a black stripe where an hour before there was nothing but white. By the time the sky goes pale over the water, the block is going again.
