About Northern Lights Home Services LLC

Deerton sits between the highway and Lake Superior, where the birch come down toward the sand and the Laughing Whitefish River runs cold all summer. Northern Lights Home Services LLC works the short green season for everything it is worth — mowing, trimming around stone and stairs and outbuildings, edging drives, and clearing the clippings before the next rain. Grass gets going late this far north and then hurries, so the schedule stays tight from June into September. Evenings the lake goes silver and the mowed ground holds the last of the light. Deerton and the nearby Alger County shore communities are where the mowers go.
