Speck Lawn Care

About Speck Lawn Care

The old maples along Decatur's village streets throw enough shade to slow a lawn down and enough leaves to bury one, and Speck Lawn Care works with both. That means mowing at a height the shade can carry, trimming tight to the tree rings and porch steps, edging sidewalks back to their real width, and clearing the leaf fall. Winter turns the job over to plowing driveways, shoveling walks and porches, and salting the places where a step meets a slick sidewalk. Out toward Lake of the Woods the cottage drives run long and need pushing back wide so the banks do not close in by February. Everything stays inside Decatur village and the Van Buren County roads around it.
