Villa's Lawn and Snow

About Villa's Lawn and Snow

The first real snow of December comes down over Ford Woods in total silence, filling the lagoon's edge and the footpaths and, by morning, every driveway along Greenfield. Villa's Lawn and Snow gets out ahead of that morning — plowing drives open, shoveling steps, porches and the narrow run to the side door, then salting so the afternoon melt doesn't turn to glass at dusk. Southeast Michigan winters arrive in waves rather than one long freeze, which means going back through, pushing the banks farther out, keeping the sight line at the end of a drive clear. It is cold, unglamorous work with an immediate result you can stand in the street and look at. Snow removal in Dearborn and the communities beside it.
