Davison sits east of Flint where the subdivisions give out and the section roads take over, and the lawns run big on both sides of that line. Mike's Landscaping mows them through the summer, trims tight along drives, fences and light posts, and cuts the edges in clean where lawn meets concrete. The rotation stays fixed, so no yard ever gets far enough ahead to look neglected. When the maples along Kearsley Creek let go in October, cleanups take over the calendar. There is a particular pride in a block where the lawn everybody notices is the one finished at noon.
