About Crystal Steel House

Winter in Iron County does not visit; it moves in with luggage. Crystal Steel House handles snow in Crystal Falls — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks, breaking up the ridge the road plow leaves across the end of a drive, and putting salt where footing gives out. Storms come in from the west and pile up under the hardwoods along the Paint River, then the sky clears and the cold gets serious. The reward is a black driveway at first light with white banked neatly on either side, and somebody getting where they were going on time. That is the whole job, done all winter, in town and out on the county roads.
