Kelley's lawn & Landscape

About Kelley's lawn & Landscape

When the wind turns northwest off Lake Michigan, Covert takes the full weight of it — bands of snow rolling in over the dunes hour after hour, long after the sky inland has cleared. Kelley's lawn & Landscape runs the plow through that, opening driveways off the shore roads in the dark before the school buses and coming back when the lake sends another round. Walks get cleared to bare concrete and treated wherever the freeze takes hold. Nothing about a lake-effect December is convenient, which is exactly why the work matters: a cleared drive is the difference between a day that happens and one that does not. Snow is the whole calling here, and it keeps its own hours.
