About North Country Landscape Inc.

Copemish is a handful of streets at an old rail junction in Manistee County, ringed by the national forest and sitting square under the snow that comes off Lake Michigan. North Country Landscape Inc. plows that country, opening driveways, clearing lots and cutting walks out from under the drifts that pile against every north wall. Storms here do not arrive politely; they stall over the hills and keep going all night, and a route often gets run twice before daylight. Sand and salt go down on the slick spots, and the wood-lot two-tracks and long forest drives get treated as seriously as the village lots. Snow removal for Copemish and the towns scattered through these hills.
