Mason Lawn & Snow

About Mason Lawn & Snow

On a July night in Comstock Park you can hear a ball game carrying from the park and smell cut grass three streets over. Mason Lawn & Snow is part of that sound — a mower running the last lawn of the day, a trimmer squaring off a fence line while the light goes gold behind the Alpine Avenue rooftops. The work is unglamorous and completely visible: even stripes, crisp borders, a curb swept so the yard ends exactly where it should. When the season flips and the snow comes down off Lake Michigan in bands, the blades give way to plows and the day starts before the alarm clocks do, so the driveway is open and the walk is safe by breakfast. Same properties, same attention, just a different color on the ground.
