Dad's Lawnscape

About Dad's Lawnscape

Out toward Proud Lake the oaks hold their leaves late, and you can watch a whole year turn from under them — green in June, rust in October, bare and blue-shadowed by January. Dad's Lawnscape works both ends of that turn in Commerce Charter Township: mowing, edging and trimming through the growing months, plowing, shoveling and salting once the ground goes hard. Summer asks for patience and a straight pass; winter asks for a headlamp and an early alarm. The reward is the same either way — someone steps outside and the walk is clear, or the lawn is cut, and their day simply starts. Dad's does the kind of yard work you notice most in its absence.
