Clippers drop out of Alberta and cross the flat farm country west of here long before they find Commerce Township's hills, and by then they mean it. Craig's Landscape Services works those nights — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks, spreading salt where Pontiac Trail glazes over between passes. Snow keeps no business hours, so the trucks roll at two and again at five and once more when the wind swings around and fills everything back in. Morning finds the pavement dark and dry, and the day starts on time for people who never saw the storm's worst hour. That is the entire point of the work.
