The Tree Guy

About The Tree Guy

With the canopy bare you can read the whole shape of Clio from any corner — rooflines, fence rows, the road running out toward the fields. The Tree Guy spends that half of the year on snow: plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways and steps, salting where shade holds the ice past noon. Heavy wet snow is the local specialty, the kind that comes down thick and sets up like plaster by daybreak. Getting to it early, before it packs, is most of the job and all of the difference. The result is plain and good — a driveway open, a walk safe to cross, a morning that begins on time.
