About Cardinal Lawn & Maintenance LLC

In June the bottomland near the Clinton River holds its dew until almost nine, and a lawn cut too early will show every wheel. Cardinal Lawn & Maintenance LLC keeps time with that — mowing, trimming, edging and cleaning up the beds — so Clinton Township yards come out even and unhurried. The heavy clay under these subdivisions grows a deep, stubborn green when it is cut at the right height and tended on a schedule, and that is most of the art of it. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass, when the lines run parallel to the street and the hedge line goes sharp. The cardinals in the arborvitae get the finished yard first; the owners get it when they pull in.
