About Blue Lakes Lawn Care L.L.C.

Late May, seven in the evening, and the light in Clinton Township goes long and gold across the yards. Blue Lakes Lawn Care L.L.C. is often still out in it, finishing a last cut while a sprinkler ticks away somewhere down the block. Macomb County ground is heavy clay — it holds water in spring and bakes tight in August — so a lawn out here rewards attention more than luck. Mowing at the right height, edging where the turf wants to creep over the concrete, trimming the awkward corners a mower will never reach: small things, done on schedule. A yard kept that way looks like somebody is home and paying attention, which is the nicest thing a lawn can say.
