Grass Hackers

About Grass Hackers

There is nothing between Clayton charter township and the west wind but flat open fields, which is why snow here does not so much fall as travel. Grass Hackers handles the winter side of the township — plowing driveways, clearing lots, opening walkways and putting salt where ice sets up. A drift across an open road can rebuild faster than you can eat breakfast, so the work is about timing and about buying room off the edge of the pavement. The result worth having is a clear drive at six in the morning with the pile out of the way of the mailbox. Nobody notices it, which is exactly how you know it went right.
