The same driveway, twice a year, in two different worlds. In July, Iceage Lawn & Snow finds it green-shouldered and hemmed with a trim line; in January it finds it under six inches of fresh, the Crooks Road commute an hour off and headlights already moving. Mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups carry the warm months; plowing, shoveling and salting carry the cold. Clawson never gets much of a break from either — it goes from mud to green in about ten days, and from color to squalls in about the same. Two halves of a year, one standard: clear where it should be clear, cut where it should be cut.
