About Wilcox Lawn & Landscaping

Clark Lake fills up in summer — cottages opened, sailboats out past the point, the whole shoreline busy from late May until the water goes cold again. Wilcox Lawn & Landscaping keeps the yards behind all that in order: mowing tight lakeside lots and the larger places up the hill, trimming around seawalls, dock stairs and shade trees, edging so the lawn stops where it is supposed to. Spring cleanup gets a cottage ready before the first weekend crowd arrives; fall cleanup takes the oak and maple leaves off before they mat down over winter. There is a particular pleasure in a lake lawn cut on a Friday — green, even, clean to the water's edge — with the weekend just pulling in. Around Clarklake and the lakes of the Irish Hills, that is the entire point of having a yard.
