Sod-Busters Lawn & Landscape

About Sod-Busters Lawn & Landscape

Clare goes green in March before the grass does — the town leans into shamrocks and parade weather while the banks are still sagging gray along the curbs. Sod-Busters Lawn & Landscape works both ends of that calendar, plowing and salting through the cold months and then arriving with rakes when the frost finally lets go. Spring cleanup here is a genuine event: matted turf, a winter's worth of sand and broken branches, edges waiting to be recut. By the first mow, a yard looks like it has been let out of something. That first stripe across a clean April lawn is the best part of the year.
