Dillons Lawn Care

About Dillons Lawn Care

Clare sits at the seam where the farm country of mid-Michigan gives way to jack pine and the road signs start pointing north. Dillons Lawn Care works that seam all year, mowing and trimming the long summer yards out along the section roads, then turning to plow and shovel once the wind comes across open fields and US-127 goes white. There is a particular satisfaction in a lawn cut down clean on a July evening, the stripes running true to the fence line. There is another kind entirely at four in the morning in February, when a driveway is pushed back to gravel and a neighborhood can get out on time. Both are the same idea: make a place usable, then make it look cared for.
