About Struck Lawn & Landscape

Chesaning sits in the bend of the Shiawassee, brick storefronts along Broad Street and bean fields running out flat in every direction, and the year there swings hard between two kinds of work. Struck Lawn & Landscape takes both ends of it: mowing and trimming through the long green Saginaw Valley summer, spring and fall cleanups, beds edged so the lines hold; then plowing when the wind comes across that open ground and fills a driveway back in twice in a night. Walks get shoveled to the concrete and slick spots get salted, because on flat country the drifting is the whole story. In July the pride is a lawn cut on the diagonal with the river trees behind it; in January it is a drive opened before the coffee finishes. Same houses, same streets, two different jobs.
