Out the back roads toward Afton the yards run right up against hayfield and second-growth woods, and by Saturday morning the grass has taken full advantage of a warm week. Jr's lawncare and snowplowing spends those mornings mowing — big open lots and small village yards both — then trimming down the fence lines and around the mailbox posts where a mower deck cannot reach. Edges get cut in so the lawn stops where it is supposed to stop, and the drive gets blown clean instead of left gritty with clippings.
