About Maki Landscaping & Contracting

The green season in Chassell is short and it does not waste a minute — the frost lets go, the birches leaf out over the Sturgeon River sloughs, and suddenly every yard between the highway and the water wants cutting at once. Maki Landscaping & Contracting keeps that pace: mowing on a rhythm the grass can count on, edges trimmed back from walks and stone, beds cleared of the winter's grit in spring and put to rest again when the maples turn. There is real satisfaction in a lawn that runs unbroken to the tree line, level and clean, with the lake light coming through it. Fall work here is half maintenance and half preparation — leaves off, corners squared, everything set for the long white months ahead. It is ordinary work done carefully, in a place that only hands you so many weeks to do it.
