Landscape Logic

About Landscape Logic

When the drawbridge rises over the channel and sailboats glide through to Round Lake, half of Charlevoix seems to stop and watch. Landscape Logic tends the lawns of a town that lives between waters, with Lake Michigan on one side, Lake Charlevoix on the other and the little harbor cupped in the middle. August evenings stay bright late here, and that slanting light falls on yards mowed in straight, deliberate rows. There is a logic to it, as the name promises: cut at the right height, borders trimmed, edges keen enough to catch the sunset. From the harbor walk to a quiet side street, a well-kept lawn is part of the town's postcard.
