About Backwoods Blades Services

Capac keeps its main street beside the railroad tracks, and the farm country around it runs out flat in every direction, so weather crossing the Thumb arrives with nothing in its way. That means summers where grass jumps after every thunderstorm and winters where a north wind fills a driveway back in twice a night. Backwoods Blades Services works both ends: mowing, trimming and cleanups through the growing months, plowing, shoveling and salting once the ground goes hard. The job is finished when it looks finished — a lawn cut to one height with the edges held tight, or a drive scraped down to the gravel with the snow stacked well off the turn. Same place, same care, two very different machines.
