About Earthworks Outdoor Care

March in Canton is the hinge month: snow going gray at the curb, meltwater standing on ground that has not thawed underneath, the fields around Independence Park half brown and half white. Earthworks Outdoor Care lives on both sides of that hinge — plowing, shoveling and salting through the cold, then turning to mowing, trimming and the cleanup that gets a yard out from under winter. This township sits on flat glacial ground that takes on water and gives it up slowly, and that shapes everything from when the first cut can happen to where ice forms at the end of a drive. Knowing the ground is most of the job. The rest is showing up in whatever the sky happens to be doing.
