About Tamarack Tree Service LLC

Calumet holds its sandstone blocks square against a winter measured in feet rather than inches, and the tamaracks along the back roads go gold before any of it starts. Tamarack Tree Service LLC works this stretch of the Keweenaw, in town and out toward the water. Tree removal for spruce and birch that snow has finally broken open, tree trimming to keep a roof and a stovepipe clear, pruning that takes weight off a limb before the next load finds it. Storm damage cleanup up here follows the big bands off Lake Superior — the tree off the garage, the drive cut open, the wood bucked into stove lengths. A yard cleared before the next one arrives is the kind of work that shows all winter long.
