About Gutter Butter, LLC

By February the sandstone blocks of downtown Calumet wear a foot of white like a second cornice, and every roofline in Copper Country carries more snow than a downstate winter sees all year. Gutter Butter, LLC works inside that arithmetic — drives opened, walkways cut through, banks pushed back before they close in on a door. Two hundred inches is less a weather event here than a standing condition, so keeping ahead of it is a daily habit rather than an emergency. There is genuine satisfaction in a cleared path with square walls and dark pavement at the bottom of it. On the Keweenaw, that is what makes an ordinary morning possible.
