Caledonia Township is laid out the way much of Michigan is laid out: square miles, gravel section roads, and maple windbreaks planted a century ago that are still doing their job. TnT Groundskeeping works that grid on a weekly turn, mowing, trimming and edging everything from village lots to properties measured in acres. Morning is the best part of it, when the air is still cool and the mower leaves a dark stripe through the dew. Groundskeeping is really repetition done with attention: the same yard, the same week, a little sharper each time. Cleanups open the season and close it, and in between the lawns simply stay looking the way people want them to look.
