D & N Landscape Maintenance

About D & N Landscape Maintenance

By the middle of October the sugar maples along the Caledonia roads let go all at once, and the low sun over the cut cornfields makes the whole township look lit from the side. D & N Landscape Maintenance spends those weeks moving leaves off lawns and out of bed lines, giving the grass its last few cuts before the ground goes hard. The work leaves a yard looking swept and ready, which is the whole idea heading into a West Michigan winter. After that the trucks turn to snow, plowing drives, clearing the path to the door and salting the ice that forms where meltwater runs. Spring finds them back at it with mowers, edgers and trimmers, closing the loop where they left off.
