A new build outside Cadillac in April is mostly raw sand and tire ruts, waiting on rain and on somebody with a hose. Quicklawn Hydroseeding sprays it green in an afternoon — seed, mulch and tackifier laid down in an even coat across slopes and yards where dry seed would simply blow away. Then comes the waiting week, the mulch fading pale, and finally the first fuzz of grass showing wherever the spray reached. Wexford County ground drains hard, so the coverage has to be honest right out to the edges or the edges are what fail. Turf work carries on from there: overseeding thin lawns and repairing the strips that winter tore up along the drive.
