Northern Preservations

About Northern Preservations

At sunrise, where the yards run out and the Manistee National Forest takes over, the dew sits heavy enough to soak a boot to the ankle. Northern Preservations starts right there — mowing, trimming, edging and keeping properties orderly along the line where kept ground meets wild ground. A Cadillac summer is short and generous, and the whole thing is over in roughly twenty-two cuts, which is reason enough to make every one of them count. Nothing sets off a property like a straight edge held along a gravel drive. Spring and fall cleanups deal with whatever winter and the woods leave behind.
