About Peak Outdoor Services

The high ground west of Byron Center catches the northwest wind first — you can feel the temperature drop just driving up out of the creek bottom. Peak Outdoor Services works both ends of that weather: mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups while the fields are green, plowing, shoveling and salting when the squalls come across from the lake. Snow up on the rises travels sideways and packs hard, so it gets pushed early and pushed back far. In summer that same exposure dries a yard out fast, and even the cutting height starts to matter. Reading the ground is most of this job; the machines only carry out the decision.
