About Northern Lakes Lawn & Landscape

Butman Township is Gladwin County lake country — two-tracks running back through jack pine and popple, cottages set where the ground steps down to the water, mailboxes a long way apart. Summer is short and generous up here: everything grows at once in June, and a yard cut back to a clean shape is the difference between a place that is used and a place that is kept. Northern Lakes Lawn & Landscape handles the mowing, trimming and seasonal cleanups that keep a lakeside lot from disappearing into the brush. Pulling away from a cottage where the grass is even, the edges true and the view to the water open again is worth the whole afternoon. Come autumn the same work turns to leaves, and the yard goes into winter tidy.
