A&N Snow and Lawn

About A&N Snow and Lawn

At three in the morning on Belsay Road, the streetlights go a soft orange through falling snow, and the only thing moving is a plow. A&N Snow and Lawn keeps that hour, clearing Burton driveways, walks and lots while the rest of the city is still under blankets. Genesee County winters do not announce themselves politely — a clipper drops out of the northwest, the wind picks up across flat ground, and four inches become eight by breakfast. The work answers with plowing, shoveling by hand where a blade can't reach, and salt laid down on the ice that follows a thaw. What's left behind is simple and worth being proud of: a clean drive, a squared-off apron, a path to the door before anyone has to ask.
