4-Seasons Outdoors

About 4-Seasons Outdoors

Burton keeps four full seasons, and the calendar here turns hard: mud in April, green by the third week of May, gold across the lawns in October, and by January the kind of white that arrives sideways. 4-Seasons Outdoors works the whole wheel of that year, mowing and tending lawns while the grass will grow and plowing drives once it won't. From the neighborhoods near the I-69 ramps out to the quieter blocks on the city's east side, the work is one promise in two forms — a lawn cut clean and level, a driveway opened to bare pavement. There is real satisfaction in the last pass of a mow, when a yard finally reads as one field of color, and in the first pass of a plow, when a family wakes to a way out. Burton is a city of ordinary lots and serious weather, and both deserve care.
