Seeley & Son Tree Service

About Seeley & Son Tree Service

Burlington is a crossroads with a creek at the edge of it and corn on all four sides, and the sky above it is mostly weather in the making. Seeley & Son Tree Service takes the village yards and the farm lanes running out toward Nottawa Creek. Work here is tree removal on ground where a machine can reach and rope work where it cannot, tree trimming along drives, and pruning that keeps a young tree off the wires it will otherwise meet in ten years. After a hard line of storms crosses the county, storm damage cleanup is the whole week — trees off the fence, brush stacked and hauled, the lane passable for the tractor again. The reward is a farmyard back in working order by Friday.
