About Lionberger’s Outdoor Services LLC

On the lakeplain you can watch weather arrive from a long way off — a thunderhead stacking up southwest over the flats, an hour of warning, then the sky above Brownstown Charter Township going green-dark all at once. Lionberger's Outdoor Services LLC reads that window and mows inside it, finishing the cut, the edging and the trimming before the first fat drops hit the drive. Afterward the township smells like rain on hot grass, which is the smell of a job timed right. Cleanups bookend the year, spring and fall, when the yards need clearing more than cutting. It is outdoor work in a place where the sky is the biggest thing around, and that suits it.
